Neutrality, discussion, and freedom of wikiEdit

Bleh, been a while since I was back here. Why is this article now a boilerplate post from Blizzard? It used to have a discussion about the issue. And more disturbing, there's not even a history of that. There needs to be an actual discussion of the issue. Just because Blizzard hates it doesn't make it inherently wrong. And the arguments they present can be intelligently refuted. For example a lot of the negative effects are not because of farming gold perse, but because they ban people who farm gold, making it high risk. If it didn't have the high risk, the people doing the farming wouldn't have to get accounts via keylogging that they can throw away, etc. Where are the statistics on this anyway? There are none. This is an emotionally charged issue for people, because people get jealous of others who buy gold, like they cheated. Which makes an honest discussion difficult. But if this is really a wiki, the discussion shouldn't be one-sided like this. And why the hell was the history removed? That's so un-wiki-like it's... depressing. --Bane 19:19, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Are you talking about something like this page Gold farmer? User:Coobra/Sig3 19:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Ah, there it is. Still, the discussions there aren't about gold farmers, perse. They are mostly about gold buying and the things that go with that. Which seems like it belongs in this article. And regardless, this article is very POV, not giving the other side even a -mention-. --Bane 20:01, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
If it is an exact copy of the Blizzard page, then I feel no changes should be made to it. Bane, while neutrality is good you seem to be promoting the gold trade. As an official fan site, what Blizzard says goes, even if it is unjust in your eyes.--SWM2448 20:08, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
