Its most likely that these armored gryphons look just like they sound. Gryphons with armor. The design will probably be blue in color and have emphasis on flight and speed(elevated wing designs on the wing armor etc). The horde's is most likely to be more focused on siege tactics(spikes near mouth,claw attachments etc) and have more of a dark red color to it.-Hammerdin
