Hey, he is present in WoW, I think we should remove the Manga warning --Shargas the Naga 21:17, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

All his backstory comes from the manga.--SWM2448 21:19, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

But the template says that he's ONLY from Manga. And that's not true --Shargas the Naga 22:02, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Not part of the HordeEdit

Unlike Lor'themar Theron and Grand Magister Rommath, Halduron Brightwing's in-game portrait specifically misses the Horde crest/logo. This is quite interesting. Another noteworthy point is that, unlike Lor'themar and Rommath, he clearly displays untainted blue colored eyes in-game. (Halduron:screenshot). This could indicate that the Farstriders are not actually part of the Horde, yet simply serving the Horde through Silvermoon. Unireal 16:54, 28 March 2009 (CET)

Him missing the Horde crest could be because of human error in the developers forgeting to add it. Blue eyes are a model mistake as he is recognized as a Blood Elf by a lot of people, in and out of game; If he were a High elf still why is he in Silvermoon? As for the Farstriders not being apart of the Horde and only servering them through Silvermoon I wouldn't be surprised if this is true. ~Super Novice-Talk to Me~ 16:00, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
It is unlikely that they made multiple errors on this specific character, especially considering his background and position. As for his blue eyes, it simply indicates he didn't participate in feasting on fel energy. I am simply curious if somewhere in lore is mentioned about the independence of Halduron and the Farstriders, in relation to the Horde. The difference in Halduron's model could indicate something. I really don't they have any hidden agenda here. Blizzard doesn't care much for Blood Elves having correct models. Lor'themar doesn't even have his own model or voice and he's standing right next to this guy. You have to remember though that Lore wise Farstriders use less magic them say Mages and such so it may take longer for them to show signs of Arcane abuse when sifioning magic or Fel energy from creatures. ~Super Novice-Talk to Me~ 16:26, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
The lore is clear on Halduron's alleigance: he is totally loyal to Lor'themar, who is a member of the Horde. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 16:58, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Also the part about his eyes being blue is only PARTIALLY true. If you look carefully at each skin, you'll notice that the shade of green fluctuates with each face. The face he uses just so happens to have the bluest eye content (outside the high elf skins, and the recent DK skins of course) Its a standard blood elf skin, and you can make a character with this face, (I did for RP purposes). FYI, most of the farstriders are PVP flagged.
Another point is that on the "Slay the horde/alliance leaders achievement" Loth'remar uses a generic blood elf portrait, while all the other faction leaders have custom portraits. Not much love from Blizzard here. (on the other hand, at least he HAS a voice, Varian and Vereesa are still mute!)--Blayaden (talk) 18:51, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Varian resently got a generic human voice. ~Super Novice-Talk to Me~ 20:19, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Really? I need to visit Stormiwnd more often. Last I checked he was mute.--Blayaden (talk) 14:57, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
PTR. ~Super Novice-Talk to Me~ 15:26, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Things on the PTR are always subject to change. Take Sylvanas's model during the beta for an example. Either way we're off topic. Unless anyone else has anything to add about the subject, I say its case closed.--Blayaden (talk) 19:03, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
