Talk:Hope
From WoWWiki
This doesn't make any sense. The whole point of the holy light is that there is no god and one should rely on his own goodness. --Angry ogre 18:43, 25 April 2006
- According to who? At least the author of the article cited an RPG book as a source. You're just saying something with no basis. I could say, "Hope is just an optimist's word for despair unfound." I would be no less correct. --Fandyllic 5:24 PM PDT 26 Apr 2006
Heres an article from wowwiki General "The followers of the Holy Light do not worship any gods (at least not directly). Instead, it is a philosophy, training its followers to seek perfection within themselves. It is very much an active practice of virtue rather than a passive worship. Those who follow it closely gain spiritual a wareness and guidance, allowing them to lead others. "
The whole point of the light is that its more like a philosphy then a religon.
If theres one thing that makes me an angry ogre. Its the mistakes in the rpg book.
- Where does it say anything about God or gods? For all we know, these things could be Naaru or any other advanced creatures devoted to Light. The Clerics talk about God. And AFAIK, official publications > wowwiki as source, so who's making mistakes here? --Potbasher 02:59, 13 May 2006 (EDT)
