Impale is possibly one of the most overrated talents in the game.
A 10% increase of your crits with abilities...
Let us assume a crit-rate of 30% and that 50% of the warriors damage is abilities. This fictional warrior does 100000 damage on a mob.
100000 damage * 0,5 * 0,3 = 15000 of the warriors damage comes from ability-crits.
15000 * 0,1 = 1500 extra dmg on the bottomline.
(100000+1500)/100000 = 1,015 = an increase of 1,5% for an investment of 2 talent-points (+ the 3 points wasted in Imp. Rend)
And it doesn't even improve rage-generation.
And that's why my conclusion is that Impale is a disappointing talent, only good for crit-line records.

- First of all, Impale should only be taken with both talent points, so that's 20% bonus damage. You obviously don't play a warrior, even PVE DPS warriors should have Impale.

It's for PvP, not PvE
PvP is all about the burst. Without burst, warriors are meat. Arms warriors need to go so deep in the tree for MS anyway they'd be fools to pass it up.
