- "Centaurs once allied with a trio of bronze dragons, and were the uncontested rulers of the island."
- I'm guesing that's been taken from one of the official non-campaign maps for Warcraft 3. A lot of those map anmes were used for locations in WoW. I doubt we can really use them as lore though: too many of the areas named after the maps are obviously different from their descriptions in War3. But I don;t know what the wiki rules are on this. - Forgot to update this, the map isn't on battle.net's list (either as a Ladder map or one of the bonus maps). So I don't know. Maybe it *is* included in WarCraft III, but isn't a ladder map? I haven't had a chance to check the actual map folder yet. In any case, I wonder if this "info" should just be removed. Even if it is a WarCraft 3 map, shouldn't it have its own, seperate page in that case? --WarlockSoL (talk) 20:19, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- Its almost a perfect quote, or paraphrase of the description given for Isle of Dread Multiplayer Map originally included with the release of either Warcraft III or TFT expansion. Go into the game and check it for yourself. As stated in are lore page, and our writing lore. We don't allow judgements on "credibility" of sources as long as the source can be cited. This might need a citation I haven't checked. Descriptions of how something might have changed maybe allowed, but usually only in speculation section.Baggins (talk) 20:34, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
