Since the recent talent changes some of the new 19 Twink specs are as follows.

Concussive Crit

Imp-Hawk

Imp-Wingclip

Hard to Get

(Note: The remaining point may be placed in eigther entrapment or improved wingclip based upon preference)

Pet Changes Edit

With the introduction of the new pet talent trees and the ability to train more pets at lower levels, it might be an idea to update the pet section.

Boar no longer learns Charge until level 20, thus dropping it's usefulness as a PvP pet. Spiders are now a very useful PvP pet for a 19 twink seeing as how they know Web from the minute you tame them. Ravagers are also now a more useful PvP pet seeing as how they learn Ravage_(pet) at level 16. Hyenas are a decent PvP pet, but seeing as how their Tendon Rip is only a movement speed decrease, they aren't as useful as a Ravager (stun) or a Spider (immobilize). RE: Umm.. not sure if you realy mean THIS page (the talk page) or if you are looking for Level_19_hunter_twinking_guide. That would be the other tab in the upper right corner. Oreaz (talk) 16:23, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Weapons: Boahn's Fang? Prospector Axe? Edit

While I'm interested that there are other BoE weapons available to the hunter, so thank you contributor, seems to me these are quite cheesy weapons for a hunter twink compared to the heirloom [Dignified Headmaster's Charge], which only costs the emblems from a a few heroics. --Arrek (talk) 17:04, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

Surely there are better weapons for a hunter twink than a SPELLPOWER staff. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:20, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
The reason for hunters having a [Dignified Headmaster's Charge] have nothing to do with spellpower. It has three useful statistics that hunters are able to make great use of: + stamina (great for everyone), + intellect and most importantly + crit rating. Without the crit a [Twisted Chanter's Staff] would be better overall because it has higher intellect, though lower stamina. For those hunters who are agility/crit based, however, the added crit is like gravy on potatoes. Just tasty. Also, I left The Boahn's Fang and Prospector Axe in the weapon listings because enough people have made use of them for them to still be useful. Boahn's provides crit (though admittedly an inferior amount compared to the [Dignified Headmaster's Charge]) and Prospector axe is a 2h weapon with decent stamina. Again, inferior to a [Dignified Headmaster's Charge] or [Twisted Chanter's Staff], but enough people make use of it to justify having it there. On the other hand, I DID place them both lower on the list as they only have partially useful stats for a twink hunter. - Fluentinjapanese

Edits & Help Edit

  • I made a massive number of changes to this guide and it STILL isn't complete despite my best efforts. The Viridian Band, for example, doesn't seem to even exist in this wiki, and I would appreciate it if someone who knew how to input a new article would place it in there somewhere. Also, if someone could go through and look at the guide again to give it an "editor's eye" (a good review), that's be great. Thanks! • Note: I added an update top the viridian band so that it does now exist. I would welcome further edits from peeps who can help with other possibly small errors. 23:14, July 2, 2010 (UTC)Fluentinjapanese (talk)(talk) 15:12, July 2, 2010
