Secrecy

He is the end boss after all. The end boss normally takes extra time to fine tune. Plus, he's the pinnacle of the expansion and the developer's want him to remain a secret. -- 22:47, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

He hasn't been seen on the PTR. Nor will he (Blizz tends to not publicly test the last boss of a raid --Coliseum excluded). Since the line we draw on datamined content is "stuff that has been seen in unmodified game clients", we can't post anything. Yet. --k_d³ 22:48, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

Cutscene

The cinematic, like the Wrathgate cinematic, is an AVI file in the game directory (Data/[locale]/Interface/Cinematics/WOW_FotLK_[resolution].avi). I doubt that posting a transcript of an easily accessible video clip qualifies as datamining, so I'll add it there. - Sikon (talk) 04:51, February 4, 2010 (UTC)

Priority

The answer is no because, while the encounter is technically in the game, it hasn't been seen on live servers yet and any information regarding it is a result of datamining. As soon as someone beats Sindragosa and starts fighting the Lich King we can start adding the dialogue, and as soon as someone beats the Lich King we can add the cutscene. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:12, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

The cutscene should wait (nobody's killed him yet). Also because Blizz has already C&D'd Bibi's posting of it... However, I'm most likely going to link it some time tomorrow (after Europe comes up) as it is sitting unprotected in our Data/<locale>/Interface/Cinematics directory...

Abilities and Strategy

OK so should we just begin writing strategy from what we observe of the encounter on the kill video? I'm assuming it will be a little while before we have exact numbers on all of the abilities... JakeARoonie (talk) 18:05, February 4, 2010 (UTC)

You can add few lines about the val'kyrs taking members away, the falling ground and whatever else you know :)

On the abilities, I'm not sure how to get the little images up next to the abilities like what's on other raid bosses... Thaddius for instance. Just not sure how to browse the icons saved on this site to find the ones that match with Wowhead's icons. :-/ JakeARoonie (talk) 17:18, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
