Offensive vs Defensive[]
I'm a bit torn on whether this is an offensive or defensive ability. It was tagged as Defensive, which makes sense considering it's a self buff that is purely reactive. The sole purpose of the ability is to deal damage though, and Water Shield is available as a defensive alternative, so I changed it to Offensive to reflect that. - Alltat (talk) 02:41, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

This is inaccurate, as i just tested this and my lightning shield just crit'ed a Wolf in duskwood for 197 dmg (its a lvl 20 twink, whose LS normally do 77-90dmg), can submit a screenshot of combat log if needed. --Aquril (talk) 14:23, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
