Talk:Mal'Ganis
From WoWWiki
he is alive. Read this -> http://www.worldofraids.com/news/262.html Laibeus Lord (talk) 00:48, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Eternal
"Since Mal'Ganis actually survived the personal kill from Arthas, he might be an eternal, which makes him unable to be killed and only defeated."
That doesn't make a lot of sense... several eternals have been killed, and Mal'Ganis is far from being one of the top-tier demons. It's more likely a trait unique to dreadlords - Balnazzar also returned from what appeared (to Sylvanas) to be certain death, after all. Egrem (talk) 06:03, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- Lots of things are "immortal" that doesn't necessarily mean they are Eternals. Being immortal doesn't mean you can't be killed either. Generally speaking demons are described as not likely to be permanetly killed, but they are also usually not Eternals. Not even Tichondrius is an Eternal, and he probably had greater power than Mal'Ganis and Balnazzar.Baggins (talk) 06:14, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- I removed it because it was a bit misleading. However, Eternals while they can be killed, also have the possibilty of regenerating after death, but it could take millenia.
I made my account mostly so I could write down my thoughts about such things like that Mal'Ganis survived, I belive, that the Lich King had some sort of plan for Mal'Ganis, use him like a servant as an example, and trough Frostmourne ALLOWED Mal'Ganis to live. The_Lore_Nerd (talk) 16. October 2008.
I'm pretty sure that Dreadlords have some kind of rebirth cycle (hence the taboo about their own kind killing them) that can only be disrupted by a large power source. I think that Arthas was weilding Frostmourne as a simple sword, and not to its full potential as he was as a Death Knight. That would explain why he could come back. --"The Scourge shall prevail!" - Scourge-Lord Morec (talk) 15:21, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Or could the reason be that the Lich Kings armors & frostmournes made by Kil'Jaeden...?
"The Homeworld"
He says something about the "homeworld" could that mean xoroth? or just an insignificant quote? TichondriusLives (talk · contr).
He's a Deardlord, right? It most likely is a refference to Xoroth. --Morec of Rivendare (talk) 21:41, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Deceased
Apologies in advance, but why would we leave Category:Deceased characters, since we now know that he is alive and ploting?
