Talk:Mob difficulty colors

Nice when you're questing. some green quests give reduced rep, but at Gray.. you basically can leave it alone.
- Except for the fact that 1, you get a reward of exp at least, and further, it might lead to a chain of quests that you can do all right in a row, since you're already high level, and that reward might be worth something. Case in point: the hunting quests in STV started out grey for me, but it awarded me some weapons I couldn't use but would be nice otherwise. It's nearly always worth taking a grey quest for this reason; other than that, if they're excessively difficult for being grey, ditch it. Schmidt 11:07, 8 Dec 2005 (EST)

grey levels wrong under player level 10?
According to the equations given on http://www.wowwiki.com/Formulas:Mob_XP#Con_Colors I think the grey levels for level 6 to 9 are wrong. Shouldn't they read:
Player Level / Grey Level
6 / 1
7 / 2
8 / 3
9 / 4
Skull at 70?
The skull level for a level 70 player is marked as >= 80. But isn't it the case that bosses are the equivalent of level 73, and that there are no level 73 mobs in the game that aren't skulls? Bosses in 5-man instances are all level 72, I believe.
Should we change this to level 73, for now? Artaxiel (talk) 12:29, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
