Sulfurons adds, Flamewalker Priests, do they hit harder since 1.6.0?

I'm a warrior and usually tank a Flamewalker Priest, and it feels like they hit harder now.

Majordomo's teleport, is it confirmed that it's the player on top of his hate list, and not the one closest to him? I've been through 2 Majordomo encounters & every time it's been the shaman we put "inside" majordomo, who's been teleported.

Could someone explain how the instance saving works here? I've come to understand it's a bit different from normal, and will prevent you from joining a raid that's already progressed somewhat into the instance? Hex 22:06, 21 Nov 2005 (EST)

Alright I get it now - each instance will get saved once Lucifron (boss 1) is down. From that point in, everyone who's in the raid won't be able to join a different MC instance until their own instance expires. As I understand it... Hex 19:35, 7 Dec 2005 (EST)

Should the discussion of the trash mobs have strategy (or at least phrased the way it is)? It seems to say "You must/can only do it this way" rather than "many [beginning] guilds do it this way" --LwoodY2K

Trash mobs moved to individual pages so that their strategy can be safely discussed on their own page, as well as more screenshots, and direct linking is now possible. CJ 06:10, 9 Feb 2006 (EST)

Core Hound Numbers?

Can anyone document what the "standard" numbers for the ancient core hounds are? I frequently hear talk of "core hound 1" or "core hound 6" or the like, in reference to specific patrols, but I've not been able to find a reference for which one is which (which is a pain for communicating with others).

Anyone have a reference?

Maybe this is nitpicking, but you don't need to complete Attunement to the Core to enter MC... should that really be listed as a Prereq? Ehertlein 14:31, 11 April 2006 (EDT)

Really? Thats the first time I've ever heard that. A while back the Attunement quest was reset for everyone due to issues with some characters being unable to take it, so it may appear that you havent done the quest when you actually have already completed it...

Well you wouldn't be able to use the entrance outside of BRD to get in, but I am sure I have zoned into MC without completing the Attunement quest when I was just down there to get the shard in the first place. I see someone has changed to wording already to reflect what I was saying. :) Ehertlein 15:03, 11 April 2006 (EDT)

Pictures

Is the picture of the 3 fire elementals at the bottom of the page from Molten Core? It looks a lot like the bridge in BRD instead of MC. Should there be non-MC pics on the page?

defeating Ragnaros is no longer the pinnacle of raid achievement. However, slaying him is still considered a very important step in raid progression
