Talk:North Point Tower

From WoWWiki

Seems the High Elfs at North point tower are gone. outside of captain Daryll. Sorry you won't find them anymore, seems like Blizzard is slowly removing all the HIgh elfs fromt he game with Patch 2.4, probably hopeing nobody will notice.--Dehnus (talk) 20:46, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

I doubt thats their intentions. User:CoobraSssssssssssssssssssssssss User:CoobraFor Pony! {TDon't hiss at me.CIf you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.) 20:59, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Que flame war from the high elf fan community.--SWM2448 21:21, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Well Blizzard probably is removing them for a reason, what that reason is I don't know, but maybe they want to remove them in favour for more Blood elfs in game, or have something else planned with them. If they want us to notice or not is Blizzards reasoning, but it is kinda strange that all of a sudden they are gone from there ;).--Dehnus (talk) 23:16, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Here's a question, are the high elf infiltrators still still watching over Brackenwall Village? User:CoobraSssssssssssssssssssssssss User:CoobraFor Pony! {TDon't hiss at me.CIf you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.) 23:22, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
I don't know what the ratio was before, but about 2 in 8 Infiltrators I checked where High Elves, the others Human. So they do still exist, but I can't say for certain if they ratio wend up or down. --Dehnus (talk) 00:22, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Are you sure they were removed or the random guard spawn just didn't spawn any high elfs? Since its random whether or not is a high elf or human. Leviathon (talk) 01:22, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Well if on all the servers they spawn one High Elf Guard and the rest are humans, you can say for certain that they where removed. After all why would all servers spawn the same kind of guards at the same time. It makes no sense if that was a random spawn --Dehnus (talk) 07:52, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Just checked, and while most of the guards were human, there was a single high elf guard, other than the Captain.Tweak the Whacked (talk) 01:42, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I saw at least three the other day. High elf sentries are random spawn (around patch 2.3 I did some research on that) depending on your luck, you can see as many as six at one time... but just as often you'll probably see one or less... The average seems to be around 3 at once... (pre 2.4 that is.)--Blayaden (talk) 04:27, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Funny though that on all Servers at the same time they had like only 1 :). The chances on that must be rather low, or Blizzard's ways of Randomizing spawns are just time related and rather badly codes ;).--Dehnus (talk) 18:00, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
You saying you were on all 200+ servers at the same exact moment to test what you just said. User:CoobraSssssssssssssssssssssssss User:CoobraFor Pony! {TDon't hiss at me.CIf you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.) 23:10, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Thats pretty impossible, the only way to check is to have a 200+ accounts with 200+ computers, each with 30+ character on each server... Pretty impossible if you ask me. The exact number of high elves is impossible since it changes every time the server is reset, or a sentry gets killed off. I suppose if someone was careful enough to go and kill only the humans, you could get a bunch more than normal... but what would the point of that be?--Blayaden (talk) 02:30, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
