Talk:Northern islands

Broken Isles
The Northern Islands may still be the Broken Isles, and the reason for the different location may be because the Maelstrom swirling, causing islands to be rotated in the same way the Maelstrom does. --Maxisfreak315 21:38, 11 February 2007 (PST)
Fused
I guess it will be more apt to change or delete the photo attached to the article, since the islands in that photo are now fused to Northrend as Daggercap Bay, a peninsula of the Howling Fjord, where Valgarde is. By the way, what happened to the article boxes and that stuff? I see them pink and white and it doesn't change when I change my skin to the original black one. It makes hard to read the blueish links...

sure?
Actually I do not believe, that the Islands are really part of Howling Fjord. Nothrend on the worldmap is way far too south, but that's just because of the limited space on the map. Just zoom out to the Cosmic map, then you can see northrend way more north and the islands somewhere in between.
Just look at this map btw.
There is an island on the map, north of the Maelstrom. I've been trying to read the name of the island but it's nearly impossible.. My best guess was "Hovl ????ah". Maybe that could give us a clue on the islands? --Tandria (talk) 16:47, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
