I think they want to call it stranglethorn jungle judging by the new combined map. Also, the fact that these two zones are legal 'zones' and get a combined map for ease of use legitimises calling all three levels of Vash'ir zones and not subzones. gadget (talk) 23:19, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

I'm unaware of what combined map you are referring to. Northern Stranglethorn and the Cape of Stranglethorn are not only shown as different zones in the beta map, they're also referenced as such on the beta forums in the zone list provided by the devs. Frejya 00:52, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

Having combined maps for areas with lots of zones makes sense to me... i hope they make a pattern of it. Still, i suppose we have two sources for a name, so no changing anything on the northern strangelthorn page yet. gadget (talk) 20:41, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
