Article Name -> Patch

Technically... the name of this article should be Patch, like what is a patch.--Hobinheim 10:26, 19 November 2006 (EST)

2.1.0 EU Only patch

There was a patch just released for the EU version of the game client(Not known if any other than the EU has gotten it, US atleast has not), oddly enough they didn't change minor revisions, but only build number, the new patch is 2.1.0.6729 whereas the US patch is 2.1.0.6692.

I've added a new new patch to this section, and calling it EU only for the time being(I have no idea if this patch has been distributed in the asian markets yet), and i've also added the special EU only patch to the top of the 2.1.0 patch changes. Must be a "really" minor fix then... hm crash issue.. yes i've been experiencing that as well. when at the bank, or opening the tradeskill windows.  - CJ talk / cont  05:56, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
I've experienced Error #134, hopefully so is it that one that is fixed now. :) --Ragowit {talk · contr · qt eu} 08:39, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Nevermind, still getting Error #134. --Ragowit {talk · contr · qt eu} 19:51, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Same problem here.... ugh.. i clicked "alchemy", freeze, crash and burn... it's definitely as of 2.1.0 that i'm getting this.  - CJ talk / cont  05:49, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
The US client has the patch as well. --Pcj 11:11, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Order of patches.

Does anyone else find it odd that the major patches are in descending order from most recent, but the smaller sub-patches within these are in numerical order (placing the oldest first). It seems to make it extremely hard to read.--Oni Ookami Alfador 17:40, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Makes sense to me anyway.  - CJ talk / cont  09:49, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
I dunno, sure its easy enough to realize the order after a minute and find what you're looking for, but it seems me to be kind of like reading a book where the paragraphs go from top to bottom, but the sentences within the paragraphs read bottom to top. Kind of counterintuitive. To read the patch notes in the order they happen you have to kind of leapfrog back and forth, taking a "2steps forward, 1 step back" approach. --Oni Ookami AlfadorTalk|@ 15:26, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

2.1.3-2.2.0 enGB patch

Just tryed to launch the game and the downloader started. Initially it wasn't downloading so i tried closing it and it started. Maybe it's a downloader bug, however patch is 74.8 Mb. --Phoenics 04:09, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

That's the partial autodownloader patch.. more will come later this week  - CJ talk / cont  09:21, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Patch names

I think it's silly to have every patch with (Release Notes) after it, and I reckon it should be removed, perhaps even removing the "patch" bit too, leaving just the number.

Thoughts? Kirkburn talk contr 00:46, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

patch 2.2.0 for me. naturally, a redirect from 2.20. --Sky (t · c · w) 00:48, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Agree with sky on this one. numbers could be anything. "Patch 2.2.0", but use "2.2.0" as well for the misdirect.  - CJ talk / cont  10:32, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Okay, moving everything to Patch X.X.X Kirkburn talk contr 17:15, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
the new design is nice  - CJ talk / cont  11:55, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Patch highlights

I was thinking about making navigation boxes for patches - for example, for 2.4:
