Isn't the Great Dark Beyond part of the material plane? It is just outer space, where worlds are situated. Rolandius

- Each planet of the Material Plane is its own plane, and even the Emerald Dream overlaps and is considered part of the Material Plane as well as I recall... material plane is one of the most imprecise DnD derived terms ever...Baggins (talk) 04:16, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

- The RPG has all the terms I listed as alternate descriptions (usually lower case) of the capitalized proper noun "Material Plane".Baggins (talk) 04:34, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

- the book said "a demiplane". In anycase demiplane is one of the D&D terms, sorta like the "multiverse"(not sure that term made it into warcraft) .
