Info on Hawkstriders/Elekks Edit

Please and thanks.AzraelOpacus 01:46, 8 December 2006 (EST)

There isn't any. At least, not at the moment. It is unknown whether or not black Elekks and Hawkstriders will ever see the light.IconSmall BloodElf2 MaleAPΘLLΘ(ZEUS) 07:24, 7 January 2007 (EST)

Black hawkstriders do exist, but their the basic lv 40 mount. Hordesupporter 22:41, 10 March 2007 (EST)

Just saw this item at Wowhead. Any informations?--Iggey 20:57, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
On the page, it says 'Patch 2.4 added elekks and hawkstriders.' I couldn't find that anywhere in the patch notes. Are Elekks and Hawkstriders actually included in the next patch? -Duskryn 02:14, 21 March 2008 (CDT)

Shouldn't the name for these be changed? Edit

Rank 11 doesn't exist anymore. :< AzraelOpacus 01:46, 8 December 2006 (EST)

Point taken, lemme fix it.IconSmall BloodElf2 MaleAPΘLLΘ(ZEUS) 07:24, 7 January 2007 (EST)

Shouldn't AV mounts be listed here too? Edit

They are available for 50 AV tokens so are PVP mounts as well.Deadoralive 15:31, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, it has been over a year and a half, but I added them. I also added the Talbuks and Mammoths available in BC and WotLK. They can only be attained through some form of PvP (whether by you or your faction) and carry on the "black/dark" theme of war mounts. Tacocamp (talk) 17:09, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

Only useable on PvP mode? Edit

Some person on my guild said that PvP mounts can only be used when flagged for PvP. Is this true or not? D Long ownz U (talk) 21:31, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Not true. Exquisite (talk) 02:16, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
Indeed, your guildie is either playing a trick on you or is uninformed. These mounts are called PvP mounts because you obtain them with PvP tokens, not because the mounts themselves have anything to do with PvP combat.IconSmall BloodElf2 MaleAMBER(RΘCK) 13:32, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
