Enrage Edit

Seems to enrage after 7 or 8 minutes? Confirmations? Dschiggs (talk) 19:27, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

You have to get him to at maximum 50% during phase two (ground phase) or he will enrage - this corresponds to ca 10 minutes. --SFSig-2009 21:06, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
On 25 man, Razorscale can enrage after 50%. It was about 10 minutes after start (probably 3-4 min after 50%). --Notmyhandle (talk) 06:19, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
2ndNin 12:00 20th April 2009 (GMT) Did this again tonight, definetly 2 enrage timers. The first is for phases 1 and 2, and enrage is ~ 5 minutes into the fight, the exact timing I can't give, but he enraged as he flew up from the 3rd ground phase. We did push a 4th set of adds (slow chaining) in the 3rd air phase so unsure how this relates exactly. 2nd enrage occurred at 10 min ish (full wipe at 11:05 due to excessively awesome paladin healer survival). He doesn't last 10 minutes in the air, and does enrage in the third phase.
If it enraged prior to the third phase, you wouldn't have seen the third phase. However, you probably attempted it once more after that. --Notmyhandle (talk) 06:11, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
2ndNin No, was a definite enrage after the third ground phase take off (I got 1 shot by a fireball with 40k+ raid buffed health). It could be a bug, but it seems like the phase is designed to force you to rush the add kills rather than simply having massive raid dps in phase 3.

strat merging Edit

The 10-man strategy section was an exact duplicate of the 25-man text, including the typos. The only differences in the fight were explained in the text itself, which was also duplicated for both sections. This seemed wordy and hard to maintain, so I've removed the duplicate 10-man text and only mentioned the differences there. -- farmbuyer (talk) 01:03, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

10 Man Observations (could use confirmations) Edit

I noticed that the fireball was listed for 25 but not 10 man. I've been reviewing some FRAPS captures and have noticed that there were also fireballs in 10 man. They do not appear to have an AOE component (confirm?)

Also, I noticed that if you get the Devouring flames launched at you, it appears you have just a teeny bit of time to move out of the way and receive no damage (confirm?)

Also Also, (may apply to 25 man as well) it appears to me that the devouring flames are only cast into the central marked circle (confirm?). I THINK this is implied in the strategy description, but if true, I think this should be mentioned explicitly. DigitalSorceress (talk) 15:14, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Yes there are fireballs in 10 man. Yes you can dodge devouring flames. No, devouring flames can be fired anywhere. --Notmyhandle (talk) 19:58, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Flame Buffet Edit

There's mention that she uses this during Phase 2 ("only" seemed implied to me when I read it) while Phase 3 strat also mentions it. Should Phase 2 and 3 be renamed 2A and 2B? It sounds a bit like Sapphiron's last 10%. Rei-gouki (talk) 07:24, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

I think calling the 50% ground phase "phase 3" is a bit confusing, since the earlier air/ground thing is really all part of the same phase. This is really just a two-phase fight. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:36, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Renaming the sections is definitely not necessary. However, making the differences between the phases apparent is. If you're confused, just put "Razorscale begins this phase at 50%" right under the header. --Notmyhandle (talk) 02:27, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
I dunno if "phase 2" is really a separate phase though. She doesn't really use any abilities, it's just "she's stunned now and you can attack her." It's like calling the Flame Leviathan's overcharge stun a phase. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:33, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Right, but again the name doesn't matter (semantics and lack of definition make this a pointless argument). As long as the article explains what can happen when Razorscale is grounded, and what they should do, then that part of the fight has been covered. --Notmyhandle (talk) 00:30, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
