If you have to be exalted to buy it then why is the 10,000 gold there for base price? Rolandius

- I'd say it's correct to list the price without discount for a number of reasons:
- The base price is just that - the base price before any discount.
- Consistency with other sites (e.g. Wowhead).
- Consistency with other item articles where there is either no minimum reputation, or a different minimum.
- People are used to seeing the non-discounted price, and by the time you're talking more than 1000g expenditure, they should generally be well aware of how the discounts work.
- The article clearly shows the price at exalted, so there shouldn't be any confusion.
- I'm not 100% sure, but I think you may be able to buy the item before you reach exalted, just will be unable to use it. Of course, that's not something anyone should do, or is likely to do, it's just a thought.
