Seeing as how Rend and Maim were apparently killed or captured by Illidan's forces in Outland, would it not seem more likely that Dal'Rend Blackhand, the dragonrider, is actually the son of Rend? Just wondering.

There is related in-game text, included in the article, that makes it clear they were never part of Illidan's forces in Outland according to the WoW account. I think it's a case of a minor retcon.--Aeleas 11:34, 28 March 2006 (EST)

Dal'Rend, his true name

Dal'Rend is Rend's true name. Why on earth would the two weapons he drops otherwise be named "Dal'Rend's XXXX"? Grom Hellcream is a similiar case. Regards, --Theron the Just 05:57, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
