Odd.. you can gain reputation with them. but there are no rewards? same with the wildhammer clan. no rrq's either. CJ 01:57, 17 August 2006 (EDT)

Anyone know why the "Revantusk Trolls"-faction was removed in Patch 1.11? :S Odolwa 21:50, 29 August 2006 (EDT)

You could look thru the blue posts on the forum at that time: one of them said something about they were removing the faction because it wasn't working out the way they wanted. And yet at the same time, they left in wildhammers as that faction was more complete. But comparing the two, it's obvious that they intended to far more and just stopped for various reasons.--Stfrn 11:29, 10 November 2006 (EST)

Personally I think,Trolls should be able to make a forest troll skin. Angry ogre

It is not *possible* because playable Trolls are Darkspear Trolls, hence Jungle Trolls, so not Forest Trolls.--K ) (talk) 18:57, 19 January 2007 (EST)
And, also, the Jungle Trolls and the Forest Trolls despise each other. Eman91 21:58, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

I've already seen many a troll guild rping Revantusk, and they are part of the horde. The only real problem it would cause would be the starting area. Angry ogre

Yeah, sure, whatever. Anyone can RP what he wants, but the playable factions won't change canon-wise.--K ) (talk) 14:30, 22 January 2007 (EST)

If I remember correctly, it is said here, on WoWWiki, that blue skin colour is for the coastal trolls, and green - inland; therefore both forest and jungle trolls can have green skin. But Darkspear trolls were living on islands (Broken Isles, then Echo Isles), so they should be rather considered coastal trolls (they still prefer to live on coast, i.e. Shadowprey and Sen'jin Villages), so they can't have typical, green skin. Plus, it's probably blue-only to make them distinguished from other trolls - so people won't try to play Revantusk green forest trolls when they're supposed to be Darkspear blue jungle trolls. --Sul'jin 15:19, 22 January 2007 (EST)

Green Trolls are green because moss grows up their skin. Inland jungle Trolls are blue.--K ) (talk) 16:03, 22 January 2007 (EST)

Isn't that all trolls have mosslike skin? And about inland jungle trolls and blue skin... Gotta check again the Stranglethorn Vale trolls if there are green skinned trolls... User:Sul'jin/Sig18:05, 22 January 2007 (EST)

All Jungle Trolls have blue skin. --Odolwa 20:05, 22 January 2007 (EST)

Actually one of the skins for the Darkspear is greenish though not the same green color of the forest troll. Angry ogre

Alliance over-powered

I think it is stupid how alliaance gets a million factions and horde only gets tranquillien.:( i mean i swear all they do is buff out the alliance and then make the horde look all evil and stupid so everyone goes to alliance so they can kill hordies. I my self am a troll hunter and have tons of chars but have always loved trolls and hunters. Beserke —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Twilightz (talk · contr).

What? Horde have the Mag'Har, Honor Hold, and Mok'Nathal. Alliance don't have a lvl 10-20 zone level to Tranquillen like we have. The Hand of Argus is part of Exodar in-game, and they are pretty merciless as you can see the Telaar Guards beating up a captured blood knight while the Interogator guy looks on. Eman91 22:03, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I'd actually like to see you list the factions alliance and then list what the horde have. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 04:48, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
I agree. The Horde and Alliance seem fairly balanced out, Alliance just has more players. Horde has Tranquilien, Thrallmar, the Mag'har, Alliance has Honor Hold, Kureneai, and Wintersaber Trainers. And both have Argent Dawn, Cenarion Circle, Cenarion Expedition, Shattrath, Steemwheedle Cartel, Ravenholdt, Zalandar Tribe, Magram Clan Centuar, Gelkis Clan Centuar, the Emerald Circle, the Earthen Ring, and the Shattered Sun Offensive. Eman91 00:18, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

The Wildhammers seem to have a much greater prescence in the area, the other tribes of trolls kinda balance it out, but the Revantusk aren't looking good with a single outpost to live in, plus the Zul'aman thing is going to be trouble...Xlel 04:23, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

"Oh, we don't mind you, Mr Elf"

I'm writing this page as my Blood Elf Hunter currently sits in Revantusk Village. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the Revantusk Tribe share the Forest Troll hatred of Blood Elves? So why is that Blood Elves be welcome in their village? I mean I can understand, game wise, why...but lore wise, it seems a little contradictory. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Azkera (talk · contr).

Sign your posts please. Lore-wise, I'm sure neither the Revantusk Trolls, nor the Blood Elves appreciate the presence of one another. But since they both are part of the Horde, they are forced to accept the decisions made by Warchief Thrall. They are forced to be tolerant towards each other, unless they wanna get in trouble.--Odolwa 13:08, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Actually, the revantusk tribe is not officially part of the horde, which is why they had their own rep at one time. They are just horde friendly. And just because they might hate the Blood elves, doesn't mean blizz can prevent one race in the horde from tons of quests in the area. You know, there's at least one Blood Elf NPC that refuses to sell for troll players - that would be the bowyer in Farstrider retreat in Eversong. So I think Blizz could very well implement some kind of prejudice if they so wished.. But you know, bear in mind that Hinterlands are still quite a way from Amani lands so the Revantusk Tribe might have never even seen an elf before. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RocketBrother (talk · contr).
Yes, I do know, however one merchant not selling to a certain race is far different than an entire race not being able to quest in a zone. The whole tribe seems to have been updated to Zul'aman trolls after 3.0.2--Gurluas (talk) 15:26, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
