Pictures
Pictures would be nice for this article. - CJ talk / cont 09:55, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Not too many though, most of the pictures can be found in articles it links to.Baggins 09:58, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Far as i can see only fel cannon and fel reaver have pictures inside their articles of actual " ingame " used models. Other than that,, nothing. - CJ talk / cont 07:03, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Ballistae, Glaive Thrower, Catapults, Demolishers, Siege Engines, Steam Tanks, etc don't have pictures? It seems most of the links have pictures :p....Baggins 07:10, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Alot of things in WoW look nearly exactly the same or are broken down. Your initial post was about "lack of pictures" for the article, I was pointing out that most of the articles that it links to are not without any form of pictures.Baggins 07:17, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have started adding WoW screenshots to a few, like Meat Wagon.--SWM2448 00:08, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Done.--SWM2448 22:21, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Gyrocopter?
it might be that they could have 1 or 2 flying siege weapons I.E gyrocopter and perhaps bombing Wyverns? if any one has some clues plz post here --Dragoon478
- lol dude, there are even dog fights on middair, like a first person shooter, but from our flying mounts (even gyrocopters and planes). Space Cowboy anyone? --

Oh PLEASE say horde will get a new flying unit and not Wyverns again! I HATE wyverns! Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 17:12, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Moar Content Plx
This was recently nominated for front page converage, I see. Now, whilst I love this article to bits for focusing on the more fascinating side of WoW gameplay; it still needs a lot of content put into it before it can even be considered to be featured, me thinks. Still, no doubt this is one to watch. Melaisis 21:03, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Zeppelin
Added Zeppelin to Goblin Siege weapons. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 07:58, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Why was it removed? They were used for bombing runs and such, right? Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 17:15, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Many of these siege weapons do not apear in world of warcraft either...Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 18:40, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Catapults
I don't understand what is meant by "It has been stated that there would have been catapults accessable to players." May be a typo, but I have never heard of any useable Catapults. Reference, please? Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 13:04, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
forsaken catapult = meat wagon? Kesmana (talk) 15:43, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Ah, the forsaken has 3 possible names as of yet: Plauge Spreader, Forsaken Catapult and Meat Waggon. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 15:59, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- Huh? All the new seige vehicles are of a unique design and model. No other names have been given or can be applied to them. -- 16:10, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
I mean that Blizzard has "confirmed" Forsaken vehicles several times under different names. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 16:12, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
I did a bad job with the citation here. The reference is one of the ones at the bottom, which mostly seem to hint there were going to be more at some point. I did not link them because I was unsure (at the time) on how to link a reference with out linking the whole thing again, and forgot to go back and fix it. The speculation list can perhaps be added to the category and removed, now that the useable ones are known. Also, those are three very different things.--SWM2448 16:12, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Yea those are very different Forsaken Siege Weapons. I gues they changed their minds of what forsaken siege weapons they wanted. I can imagine that a Plauge Spreader did not fit so well in a PvP situation, and confirmation about Meat Waggon was waaaaay back. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 16:41, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Old References
What will we do about the old references? Some of that information has changed and is out of date. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 16:31, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- I vote for keeping some for historical reasons, but what to keep?--SWM2448 16:36, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Remove some text
I think we should remove the info beside the Links on the list of unconfirmet Siege Vehicles. You know what? I'll do It. Just put it back if you think it should be there. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 16:51, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
You was just in time to stop me. :P Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 16:53, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Done! Now the article is a bit shorter. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 17:00, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Split
Now that the context of usable siege weapons is known, is a split needed to disambiguate between lore and gameplay? I am unsure if it is needed at all, so feedback would be appreciated. Perhaps 'Siege vehicle'?--SWM2448 22:28, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- I vote for a split. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 09:16, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well honestly, I feel the new stuff should go in Siege Vehicle and not here. Siege Weapon is an old term they're not really applying to these now, and it would only take a sentence on here to explain that Siege Vehicles are the same and disambig to there. -- 09:29, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- It really should be 'Siege vehicle' (with the lowercase) for the general topic, as uppercase is reserved for things actually named in that case in the game. 'Siege weapon' may continue to exist as a lore page, because I am not sure if that Alliance & Horde Compendium tidbit fits in with the WotLK information, and there may be more lore about the topic. Though, most of the information is already on the pages that are linked from here in that list (which are now all categorized, so the category may take the place of the list if it gets removed).--SWM2448 21:40, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
True. A Siege vehicle is a siege weapon that you drive, while a siege weapon can also be a giant crossbow, a catapult, exc. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 08:22, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Baggins' comment was not a 'no' for the split, it was more about what it should be split to. Not to twist words.--SWM2448 00:54, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Horde and Alliance versions
I can't see alliance using a Forsaken Catapult or a Demolisher that often, of course they could hijack them, but not building them. My guess is that H & A will get different models. It whould be great if they made at least one Siege weapon for each race. I just pray that horde will get something that is not wyverns... Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 08:29, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
