Originated from Outland?
Since skunks are only found on Azuremyst & Bloodmyst Isle on Azeroth, while they thrive in the forests of Terokkar on Outland, one can assume that they may originate from Outland. Similar to with how Ravagers and moths have gotten to Azeroth. Any thoughts?--Odolwa 23:08, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Although I think moths, and possibly skunks were mentioned in books before The Burning Crusade was released, implying they may be natural to Azeroth. Obviously not the same kind of moths, but rather the little ones that are drawn to flamesTemplate:Cite. Yep I found a few references to skunks so far. Another one appears in Last Guardian. Khadger thinks of one of the visions he sees in the tower, as a "young man with a skunk stripe of white running through his hair".Template:Cite Obviously if he knows about skunks before the First War skunks must exist on Azeroth naturally. That's not to say the ones seen in the Azuremyst Isles didn't come from Outland, they probably did. Um, no they're not in the same family as weasels anymore, though they used to be. I'm not even gonna post the link for that, just look it up on wikipedia they aren't in that weasel/ferret/otter family anymore. :) And yes, I agree they do exist in Azeroth and Outland, just not seen much in WoW. Blizzard really needs to make skunks be a non-combat pet I'm surprised they aren't yet. 5:42 20 January 2008

skunks are also found in stonetalon mountains and in wrath of the lich king they will become an obtainable pet via achievements.
