As a warrior, I already have resisted Onyxia's Fear effect, and not losing the Fear Ward Buff in the process. It's clear to me that Resistance is checked before immunity. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xtrochu (talk · contr).

I've done some testing on the 2.4.3 PTR, and I'm very confident this has changed. With a level 70 Priest against a level 51 Pterrordax, Fear Ward is always consumed by the next fear, despite the high resist chance. This strongly suggests that Immune has precedence over Resist -- unless I was extremely unlucky and the eight Immunes successfully passed the Resist check beforehand. --bfx (talk) 08:18, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
