"You can get more hints about Stalvan from the Caverns of Time in The Burning Crusade." After spending quite a while hanging out in the Southshore inn, and browsing the usual WoW resources, I haven't seen any "hints" regarding Stalvan in CoT, other than the fact that he's present.
