It could also be merged with another page involving the south seas of Maelstrom. I think if it got redone, this page could be very useful. The creator should look deeply into his sources and find more information. But I think it should remain an article.)

I do not see this page as trying to define the term "Sunken Kalimdor", rather I see the page as trying to group the parts of the South Seas that remain sort of parts of Kalimdor (Night elf ruins, naga, ect.) If we need something like that.)

I think we should delete this article. There isn't anything called "sunken Kalimdor" and it not like it is some continent under water or something. Also, all the links in the "see also" section are part of the South Seas in lore. Rolandius

- Parts of Kalimdor sunk, and those areas still exist to some extent in the South Seas. The sunken parts were at one point considered an area by themselves (called "Sunken Lands") in an old piece of concept art for WoW.[1] A similar piece of concept art for Warcraft III seems to exist.[2]--SWM2448 20:05, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe we should call this article "Sunken Lands"? If not then I think it should be deleted because right now it is "sunken Kalimdor" which shows sunken as lower case. Also, the areas that still exist fall under the "South Seas" heading in the RPG and not "sunken Kalimdor" or "Sunken Lands". Rolandius

- It seems like the intent of this page is to define the term "sunken Kalimdor", which exists, where exactly? If the term doesn't exist anywhere but on this page, I don't think we should have a definition page for it. If "Sunken Lands" is an acceptable lore term from some source beyond a concept art, ok lets move the page. Otherwise, I would vote for deletion. --Wige (T - C) 15:32, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- This place does not exist. Most of what sunk is now the sea floor. Do you really think the Sundering was gentle and everything sunk in great condition to the bottom to create an underwater continent? The Sundering "sundered" Kalimdor, crumbling a huge piece of the continent and pushing the other pieces away from each other to create the continents and islands we know today. It is like making an article called "Seperated Draenor" and talking about the part of Draenor that is floating out there intact, not including the zones in Outland of course, as if it exists. So far the only significant part of Kalimdor that sunk is The Eye which is under the South Seas category. Rolandius

- I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I agree with Rolandius. Chances are most of what was the middle of Kalimdor was utterly obliterated, and the parts we know to have survived could very well be ALL that survived. Unless we get some sort of official confirmation that the vast majority of that land somehow survived mostly intact, I see no reason for this article to exist. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:55, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
