Am I the only one to believe the blue post was a joke?

"Sunwalkers.
...oh, right, this is a joke post. Carry on!"

I don't see it as joke, looking at Quest: An Injured Colleague it all fits in my opinion--Daginn (talk) 08:41, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
This Post was a joke too. But I think this article should be deleted and creted only with confirmation. Pudim17 (talk - contr) 12:37, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
I've flagged it for Accuracy if you don't mind.

I've already deleted it once, due to lack of sources... then he posts a source of Kisirani posting in a joke thread... Deleting again, I'll leave this talk page untouched and will be preventing the page's creation this time. If you have an actual source of this group, post it here. I think Kisirani was quite serious when she posted that name. Leviathon (talk) 02:18, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm actually quite inclined to agree. My very first thought when I saw her post that was to create the article... That's not something I often do for random blue posts.- -k_d3 03:19, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
I agree that the Tauren Paladins WILL be called Sunwalkers, that was no joke...but I guess until there's more evidence, and more Lore behind the Sunwalkers, there's no need to create the page. Thelordnyax (talk) 04:38, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm still new to the whole editing business so I'm still new to the rules and guidelines, still thank you for all the feed back Daginn (talk) 05:43, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
FWIW, I'm similarly convinced that Sunwalkers and their lore will be the route that Cataclysm takes. Honestly the concept is a salve to the dissonance of Tauren conversion; Also Brightmane --even just the name-- is an obvious breadcrumb on this trail.--Drolfeir (talk) 04:16, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

I've removed the Accuracy and Bettername flags. We now have multiple posts from Kisirani that mention the name Sunwalkers, and the other speculation is given adequate backing. Remove the Elune/Loa mention if you see fit, it appears in other articles as well, such as the Notes sections of Tahu and Aponi. -]skwɔlʃeɪpr[tɔk - kɔntrɪbjuʃənz][- 12:02, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

Sounds well-phrased, I'd put more emphasis on the high probability of Tauren paladins not being "holy", but that's just my hate for "holy cow, lorelol" sayers, er my personal preference. ~ Nathanyel (talk) 12:56, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

Relation to Plagueshifters?

Just bumped into Plagueshifter again, specifically this line:

Plagueshifters are capable of summoning creatures to their aid. They can summon strange creatures called white hounds, that can understand the plagueshifter's speech and obey to the best of their ability. White hounds can cure by touch, and their bite releases divine magic.

Of course "divine" seems to be an outdated/inaccurate term here, used back then in lack of a better one, I see the possibility to integrate the Plagueshifter concept into the Sunwalker class. Like the Eastern Kingdoms' Paladin of the Light, a Plagueshifter battle the Plague of Undeath, with powers that are/seem divine, at least positive in nature. The offensive against the Lich King in Northrend could hold as an explanation for an increased number of Plagueshifter initiands, forming an organization/cult under the name Sunwalkers. ~ Nathanyel (talk) 14:07, March 22, 2010 (UTC)

Almost guaranteed official.

"Sunwalker" is now likely the official name for Tauren Paladins..[1]

Updated the article accordingly
