I'm sure it's been pointed out, but the FR is obvious (MC) and the NR is less obvious but is still obvious if you think about it: I propose that they had Silithus in beta form way back when the game started. It's obvious enough if you consider that Silithids were in Barrens and there's an early quest leading to something bigger when you go into Tanaris. Ergo this item could've served as a clue as to what guilds should've been farming for almost a year ago ;p

You need NR for Thunderaan fight, so giving NR on a Thunderaan bindings item was quite a logical step. --Potbasher 10:14, 24 November 2006 (EST)
