The Mercenary camp containing Forest Troll, and Ogre mercenaries is indeed in this level. It must be mentioned on this page which keeps track of ingame information. Copperblast (talk) 03:21, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

Since this is an article about the Warcraft 3 mission, and not the lore article about the event, that is correct. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 03:50, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
They're optional however. This is supposed to be for the actually army of the player. ShadowShade81413 (talk) 22:40, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Blizzard very specifically intentionally put them on the map, made them cheap, and easy for the player to obtain. Technically getting Banshee Sylvanas is optional too. Copperblast (talk) 22:45, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
They aren't an actual faction though, the template is for the actual armies or the combatants. And Sylvanas is part of a quest, which was canon. Mercenaries should only be included for the Arthas ships mission, when they were part of it. ShadowShade81413 (talk) 01:53, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
They joined the Scourge Army in attacking Quel'thalas, they temporarily became part of the Scourge faction. You're obviously meant to use them, as the developers put them, unlike say using the Banshee's possess ability on a high elf worker to build the full human and high elf tech tree for the Scourge. There's been no statement that its non canon, it would make sense for Forest Trolls to assist in the downfall of their hated enemy. Even if it is, gameplay pages like this still keep track of in-game campaigns, and storylines. The Shadowmoon Clan's battle against the Thunderlord and Bonechewer clan was retconned, we still note it. The presence of Alliance Forces in the Tomb of Sargeras was never mentioned in the Beyond The Dark Portal novelization, yet the page for the mission still mentions them. Copperblast (talk) 03:54, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
Without turning the mission pages into walkthroughs, I see no reason to leave out relevant information about choices like mercenary camps and optional missions. PeterWind (talk) 09:05, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
I agree with keeping them there since the page deals with gameplay but maybe a note about them not appearing in Rise of the LK, DK manga and Blood of the Highborne wouldn't hurt. --Mordecay (talk) 17:58, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
Can we just remove them from the template but keep the section for them? There's no need to list them twice. This way the optional use of them is pointed out while not excluding them. ShadowShade81413 (talk) 00:23, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
Its ok if we list them twice, because they're listed in different contexts. Copperblast (talk) 00:46, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
It's a false context to list them as part of the Undead unit army. ShadowShade81413 (talk) 06:03, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

Golems[]

The units were called "Granite Golems". They were a part of the "Sunwell Guardians" faction. --Mordecay (talk) 19:04, 7 July 2017 (UTC)

Oh, ok! Xporc (talk) 19:07, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
