Are there any sources in other lore about this "Guardian"? How did he know of Frostmourne, and how did he locate it so quickly so as to guard it? Will his actions, or any effect there after, be reflected in anyway in the upcoming Wrath expansion? --Invin Dranoel 12:49, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

No, not really. They did not. One of my all-time favorite minor characters is left unexplained. At least he is not confirmed to be evil. I like to think of him as sort of altruistic or at least indifferent, as part of my 'Old Gods are not completely evil' theory.--SWM2448 21:26, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
