Talk:The centauredit this page

An alternative interpritation of the legend is that Zaetar was infact "the centaur", and Remulos was the keeper of the grove. Facts get altered in oral legends as they're passed down, instead of the centaur having middle or youngest child sindrome, he could have been the eldest son who was angery at his father for doting on his younger siblings (Remulos and the dryad). The additional centaur tribes could be explained that they were groups that splintered off after the original five clans were established.Tweak the Whacked (talk) 20:37, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- It doesn't give who was born first. Actually. This legend is actually based on the Warcraft III manual, and explanation given in Manual of Monsters, and information given elswhere in Horde Player's Guide. In anycase its stated in other sources that keepers came first, and in some specifically Zaetar, any centaur to born to Cenarius were his later bastard son/s.Baggins (talk) 20:46, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- Does it mention anywhere who the mother of Zaetar, Remulos, and "The centaur" could have been? Aren't the dryads transformed night elves, and not real daughters of Cenarius? Rolandius (talk) 09:15, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- It's hinted a few Night Elves who studied early on under cenarius became keeper and dryads, but not that the race nessesarly originiated from the Night Elves. In fact the opposite may be true. There still quite a bit of room for speculation in the whole Dark Troll/Keeper/Night Elf/Elune/Cenarius/etc...origins lore.Warthok Talk Contribs 09:23, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Three children?
It says here that "the centaur" thought he was the best of the three children: "the centaur", "the dryad", and "the keeper of the grove" (perhaps Zaetar). I thought Cenarius had five children: "the centaur", Remulos, "the keeper of the grove" (perhaps Zaetar), Ordanus, and "the dryad". Rolandius
