Thoradin's WallEdit

The wall's name is a refernce to Hadrin's Wall in england, which was used to keep out barbarians.

It's facing the wrong direction to defend Stromgarde. There's ramps on the Hillsbrad side.

Wasn't Hadrian's Wall erected because Rome ( actually ) got sick of claiming parts of the British Isles? --Super Bhaal 05:55, 27 April 2007 (EDT)

Hadrian's wall was erected to keep the Scots outa England (then Brittania) Mr.X8 06:04, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Something's NOT right! Edit

Honestly, this wall is HUGE and covers a vast area, this would have taken centuries to build! A constuction this big would have crippled any economy!--Mannerheim 19:12, 24 February 2007 (EST)

Not really, if this was constructed after the troll wars it's conceivable they had slave and/or magical assistance. Crioca 2008-06-16 18:50
Fast construction is nothing new in the Warcraft universe. Theramore was built in about four months between WC3 and TFT, and Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff and Darnassus didn't exist as of WC3 either. - Sikon (talk) 12:16, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Great Wall of Thoradin Edit

Regarding the speculated origins of this wall is to wall out the Trolls duing Thoradin's time, it is similar to the way the Ancient Chinese walled out the Mongol raiders. Just thought it would be interesting to point this out. --Invin Dranoel 14:46, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
