Could someone replace that "fanfic" image for something else. Say some kind of artwork. I think images such as those rest points to the quality of the articles.

I believe this page has enough images without the "fanfic" one.

Attributes and Abilities

I don't see any attribute increase when he battles Illidan, or maybe Blizzard change it in another version. My source is Warcraft 3-RoC version 1.20c, if I'm not wrong, it's the third newest version(the others are 1.20d and 1.20e, they only fix B.net if I right). Oh yeah, he actually has five abilities, the 5th is Inferno, it act much less the same as Rain of Chaos, except it summon only 1. Should I add it too? --Malygos 12:50, 4 January 2007 (EST)

Darkener

Apparently he was the most powerful Dreadlord in existence, evidenced by the title of the "Darkener", similar to how Mannoroth is referred as the "Destructor", Kil'jaeden is called the "Deceiver" and Archimonde is known as the "Defiler".

Since a lot of lesser demons carry similar titles eg. Razelikh the Defiler , perhaps we can get rid of this analysis. --Raze 02:20, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

I think so, though don't ask me how Razelikh get the same title as Archimonde. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 03:17, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
He stole it! eg. Ruul the Darkener Thaladred the Darkener. --Raze 03:51, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

What official source do we have about his title? --TichondriusLives 13:50, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Every named demon in the Warcraft III manual had a title that started with a "D".--SWM2448 18:55, November 28, 2009 (UTC)

Temp Lich king

I was looking at the Nerzuel's Artical and it says. "Litch King. Preceeded by "Nerzuel' current Nezuel/Arthas". cause during the 3rd invasion (Technically it is the 3rd invasion since the orcs were part of the legion when they (The orcs) invaded Azeroth) he is the leader of the scourge for a short time. --The last Alterac 02:32, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

1) learn to spell. 2) the succession box refers to those who have held the title of Lich King, not those who have led the Scourge. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 03:53, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Possibly Alive?

Yes well we have all had our most smashing time parading around Felwood with a huge hoofed demon called Illidan and thrashing Tichondrius but the thought came to my mind... http://thottbot.com/q11026 The Demons are said to come back in new bodies, Would this mean that somewhere Tichondrius is being reborn? Possibly this "Resurrection" could be Automated and that over time the power collects and reforms the being? Or Perhaps the Legion has some entire Warlock brigade designed to summon the essence back into existence? Thoughts? --Mordanath (talk) 00:30, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, since dreadlords have a habit of not staying dead, well... I guess we'll just have to see. INV Misc Orb 04Xavius, the Satyr Lord 11:26, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Well then, would it be safe to assume that Tichondrius - A calculating and cunning Dreadlord has his own means of resurrection and escape? Perhaps Tichondrius still lives in the guise of a Night elf perhaps - Should we add this to the article due to high probability? It also seems due to Mal'Ganis's quotes that Dreadlords can "return" to the 'homeworld' which is either Xoroth or perhaps the Twisting Nether. --Mordanath (talk) 03:41, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Tichondrius, unlike the others, was killed by another demon using an incredibly powerful demonic artifact. While Frostmourne technically fits that description, one could assume that Dreadlords are immune to any magicks wielded by the Lich King (they were his jailors, so why would they be vulnerable to anything he could throw at them). However, given that all the other Dreadlords seem to be coming back, we cen't really rule this out. I wouldn't add it because it basically serves no purpose (he's either coming back or he isn't, a note in the article isn't going to change it), but I have no other opposition to it.
The Twisting Nether isn't a planet, Mordanath, it can't be something's homeworld (though the precise origins of the Nathrezim aren't really known).--Ragestorm (talk · contr) 13:45, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

And since Malganis and Balnazaar have been killed but stayed alive, can it be that Kil'jaeden really needs the dreadlords to the extent that he will revive them? According to this:

Kil'jaeden seems to have no problem keeping his ego from dominating judgment. He is surprisingly forgiving to failed servitors, provided they aren't complete screw-ups,RotH 80 and consistently allows those who serve under him chances to redeem themselves, a policy which acts to cement their loyalty.

Kil'jaeden might have revived them.. to serve him once more? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thuzadian (talk · contr).

Well considering Mal'ganis and Balnazzar are alive he could have used the same way of living especially since he is more powerful than them. maybe he will come out in one of the next expansions perhaps a boss in as a future raid encounter. TichondriusLives (talk · contr)

Family

I noticed that it says Anetheron under family but what about Mephistroth? Since dreadlord's brothers usually come in 3 and they were in that meeting in the nether TichondriusLives (talk · contr).

Besides Balnazzar-Varimathras-Detheroc family what other dereadlord brothers come in 3?, just because it has similarity has to be the same. Also, we can't add any information without an official source, that means, if you don't have a source, don't add it. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 03:32, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Yea but then how do we know that Anetheron is his brother? and also in the second undead lvl of TFT there are usually like 3 dreadlords on one big area on the mapTichondriusLives (talk · contr).

That is a good point, what is the citation for their familial connection? --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 17:25, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
The source is the W3 Map The Dreadlords Convene. In their dialog, Tichondrius says "Believe me, brother" to Anetheron. But it can be a general expression meaning "my brethren". Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk) 17:57, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
EDIT: And Baalnazar is said to be the brother of Detheroc and Varimathras, but there's no source ?
There are plenty of sources, like Varimathras saying: "Greetings, Lady Sylvanas. My brothers and I appreciate the role you played in overthrowing Arthas..." Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 19:59, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Balnazzar, Varimathras and Detheroc's use of the term is more concrete than Tichondrius's singular usage. I also think there's an outside source that confirms them, but I can't recall it. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 20:59, 2 April 2009 (UTC)}
Here is a non-WC3 source that confirms it: The Truth Comes Crashing Down. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 21:06, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
The whole brother/sister thing can get annoying at times. I agree with Rage however that the useage by Varimathras and co is a far stronger indicator of a familial relationship. The same can not be said of Ticondrius's.Warthok Talk Contribs 21:38, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

If Tichondrius is the "leader" of the whole group, it sure sounds like Anetheron can say anything he wants to his brother. I know he is the "envoy of Archimonde", but after Tichondruius told the other two that he had control of the situation with Arthas and Ner'zul, Anetheron was like "you better" as if he was superior to his brother. Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 06:52, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Good point, but the lore is clear on this point: Tichondrius was the leader of all the Dreadlords. That's likely an oversight, or else the Nathrezim don't care about being rude to each other. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 14:17, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
I guess if they are brothers they don't mind what they say to each other. Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 03:34, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Since it's forbidden for them to kill each other, they probably don't care about what's being said, because they know they won't follow through on any threats.--Ragestorm (talk · contr) 13:25, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Attack Quote

Sometimes when Thicondrius attacks he yells "ash nazg gimbatul" wich is black speech and a part of the inscription on the one ring from "The Lord Of The Rings". It might be worth having it noted in the article.--TheLichKingRisen (talk) 11:48, October 25, 2009 (UTC)
