The two campaigns aren't entirely seperate storylines if you look at them closely enough. There are elements mentioned in one campaign that happened in the other campaign. Most of the levels seem to weave into each other. When I have the time I'm going to have to try to create an article discussing this fact.

But here's an example to start out. During the orc campaign, orcs establish a base on Zul'Dare. While in the alliance campaign Alliance build the town of Hillsbrad. The orcs decide to attack Hillbrad in orc campaign. Alliance decide to attack the horde's Zul'dare base from Southshore in alliance campaign. Act 1 of both campaigns end. In the start of Act II alliance campaign, alliance forces ackowledge that both Southshore and Hillsbrad had been razed to the ground(as stated in the Orc campaign)Baggins 03:45, 11 December 2006 (EST)

It says here that "It should also be noted that Blizzard moved the Second War from six years to two years after the First War." Where's that from? If I read the Timeline_(wow.com), Warcraft 1 is in the year 0 and Warcraft 2 in the year 6. So maybe the first war took four years, but where does it say that? --Berry2K 18:17, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

The intro movie in Warcraft II states that the game takes place 6 years after the end of the First War. Later timelines have second war beginning two years after the second war. A good way to see how this change has affected the timelines is look at the timeline RTS, and compare it to the later made timelines.Baggins 22:25, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

The Second War begins six years after the end of the First War Edit

I've just checked out timelines from the official Blizzard WoW site, as well as these ones. It definitely looks like all the sources report the same info: the Second War began 6 years after the First one, so I really can't figure out where such rumor came from. If someone is to discuss this, please report the official sources confirming it. Also note that even a single timeline wouldn't be enough: most of them (and the most recent of which) simply close the file. --Aurigon (talk) 15:39, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

What clans were playable in Warcraft II ? Edit

Ah Warcraft,..... it wasn't just an RTS where buildings took longer to build and the map would hide itself with the fog, but the races and units and the LORE were so cool too! Troll Axethrowers were my favourite part of the Horde, and the Horde was the best faction. One of the biggest thrills we got in WC II was at first, you played with RED orcs, (which i later figured were the Blackrock) and a few missions later, the orcs were BLACK (the Troll Axethrower's nose +hair, the Ogre's belt, the grunt's armour, THE BUILDINGS) STILL, the commander leading the orc missions is always the same guy, "Urok Scratcher". Later on orc sub clans were given different colours, Warsong was purple, The Frostwolf were blue and white,... so why the colour change? Now with the map edit and multiplayer i understand units can be given a lot of colours, to tell them apart, AGAIN, same commander, same clans. I don't get it.
