Talk:Timbermaw Hold reputation guide
From WoWWiki
Need to verify what rep limit there is for the southern timbermaws -- gardeners, pathfinders, warriors.
Also not sure whether Ror still gives 15 rep at Revered.
-- When I helped my girlfriend with the southern timbermaws yesterday, the southern timbermaws only gave me 1 rep each, but my girlfriend got 5 (I am lvl 60, she was 48 at the time). For Ror she got 15, I got 3. Linkan
Rep gain for the rares would be nice if only for completeness.
10/31/2006 - Table updated to reflect rep gains and limits. Used N/A in spillover because there is no way to get an "uneven" amount of rep (all multiples of 5) I have killed all spawns between Felwood and Winterspring before and after revered within the last week.
I'm pretty sure the reputation gains for the soutern Deadwood Furbolgs were reduced. (1 at lvl 60 for average, 3 for Ror). So the table has to be changed. --Lynos 11:44, 31 December 2006 (EST)
I can confirm for all but Chieftain and Grizzle: when you no longer get experience from them, they give 1/5 reputation. --Eirik Ratcatcher 14:03, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
As of Patch 2.2 all reputation gains with Timbermaw Hold will be doubled. - can someone confirm that this is globally true, or is it explicitly stated somewhere? (references? ;P)
I tried it out yesterday (4.8.2007 EU PvE PTR) and it seemd to fit for the few things I checked:
Level 53 friendly:
- Killing northern timbermaws => 11 (Human bonus, so 10 really) rep per kill. Didn't try any of the mini-bosses.
- "Northern Furbolgs" Quest => 770 (non-human would be 700) rep, that's double the current 350.
Level 53 honoured:
- "Feathers for Nasomethingorother (the northern guy)" Quest => 165 (non-human would be 150), also double.
- "Speak to Salfa" Quest => 55 (non-human 50), double again
- _Killing_ a timbermaw furbolg only lost me 25 rep... if I'm not mistaken this is a LOT less than is currently the case on the live realms, but I'm disinclined to try it out to verify ;P

Patch 2.2.0 changes:
- Winterfall Spirit Bead turnins now reward 150 reputation instead of 75
- This may not be a Patch 2.2.0 change, but if you are lvl 70, High Chief Winterfall only increases your reputation by 10

Both confirmed by yours truly (druid level 70) Honored, en route to Exalted:
- Runecloth and Sacred Cloth now give 500 rep.
- Deadwood and Winterfall Ritual Totems now give 700 rep.
...poor Salfa, buried under beads...

The very first quest, to kill 6 of each deadwood, will put you all the way up into unfriendly. Did this on both my shaman and mage yesterday. Evanfardreamer 23:42, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes but that relates to Timbermaw reputation how? Seankreynolds 23:14, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
02/28/2008 Patch 2.3.2 I just tacked out High Chief Winterfall while he was still green (me 63, him 59), only 20 rep. Was this nerfed at some point? Nafe 05:20, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Patch 3.0.2
Looks like the rep points for this changed again. I turned in 15 beads today and got 300 point for each turn in, instead of the 150 it was doing last week. I did not change anything on the page here because I am not sure about any of the other numbers for the rep. If I get a chance, I will try them out with some of my other toons that are below revered with them to see if any of the killing rep has changed. dparvin (talk) 21:04, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Yes - confirmed this today. Used to get 1 or 2 exp per kill at 70, now I'm getting 4 for all non-named mob kills. And both beads and feathers grant 300 rep per 5. Wyndegrayfeather
I confirmed this last night as well, 5
[Winterfall Spirit Beads] were turned in for 300 rep Wigs (talk) 07:15, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
I noticed this as well - I was getting 20 rep per kill on the Deadwood furbolgs. Has the patch doubled all rep gains with the Timbermaw? Runiel
Can also confirm this, and will update the page Luiniel
I managed it at level 46
- In "The Path to Exalted" it says that 290 feathers(/beads) are needed to get completely through Revered. Is this right? My math is showing 350... 21000 rep divided by 300 per turn-in = 70 turn-ins... and 70 turn-ins * 5 per turn-in = 350 beads/feathers. Looks like 315 for humans. Someone check me on this? -- Solitha (talk) 11:08, November 1, 2009 (UTC)
Patch 3.0.8
You no-longer get less reputation because you're high level. Luiniel (talk) 22:13, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
You don't get rep from unnamed furbolgs at Revered. Not happy. Turned in a pile of beads thinking I'd still get kill rep at Revered. Also, High Chief Winterfall is 40 rep and Grizzle Snowpaw (the Winterfal Rare) is worth 0 rep. Rei-gouki (talk) 20:01, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- This has always been the case; it's not a new development with 3.0.8. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:55, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
I can confirm that Grizzle Snowpaw is worth 0 rep at revered; the page should be updated if someone knows if it's 0 from neutral all the way to exalted.
Merge with Timbermaw Hold?
Is there really any reason for this to be a separate article anymore, or can we merge it with the rep page? -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 08:21, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
- Same difference as Lore/tactics pages for bosses. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 21:40, September 21, 2009 (UTC)
- Apart from being a (mostly) outdated rep, most other rep pages don't have a separate guide page and simply have all the rep quests and gains listed out on the same page. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:59, September 21, 2009 (UTC)
