Talk:Tips for new players

This article has its origins as a tongue-in-cheek rant. It's my opinion that the best tips for this article are those that amuse experienced players and also educate new players. Obviously I have no control over what happens to the article now (yay wiki!) but I would encourage contributors to consider the following before posting their new tip: (1) How important is my tip? (2) Is my tip just a rewording of an existing tip (i.e. is it already on the page)? (3) Will experienced plays smile/nod/sigh when they read my tip? (4) Am I forcing my opinion down a new player's throat? Well, I guess that last one is unavoidable given the topic!
