Last I heard, Velinde Starsong had disappeared without trace. If that image is indeed of her in-game as you say sanwichman; then she needs an NPC box and a reference to her current location. --User:Vorbis/Sig
An image appears in the Howling Vale if you have a quest.--SWM2448 18:58, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Alrighty then. That should be added to the article. --User:Vorbis/Sig
This quest: Quest:The Scythe of Elune and Quest:The Howling Vale --SWM2448 19:01, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Location

Velinde actually disappeared without trace, but the NPC picture is of her image in the Howling Vale. I changed her location to Unknown to reflect this. -Archaeic 19:33, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

She only appears during the scythe quests, at two locations...she's not a permanent fixture. User:CoobraSssssssssssssssssssssssss User:CoobraFor Pony! {TDon't hiss at me.CIf you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.) 20:08, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Exactly - that's why I shifted it to Unknown. She isn't always there so she isn't 'located' in Ashenvale at all. -Archaeic 10:30, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
I thought that the quest The Scythe of Elune (linked above) revealed that she had died in the mine now known as Roland's Doom? -- Dark T Zeratul 00:14, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
That is actually true... either way, she has no location, being dead is a side effect of that. User:CoobraSssssssssssssssssssssssss User:CoobraFor Pony! {TDon't hiss at me.CIf you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.) 04:19, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

In the Cataclysm trailer, when you see 3 night elves approaching the worgen, is the middle one Velinde? It seemed like that was her. --1201 (talk) 01:28, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Well, she was a sentinel, in the trailer they are druids. But who knows? Although, I don't think it's enough evidence even for speculation. Azahel (talk) 23:53, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

In Cataclysm?

I'd like to know if this is worth adding in:

See this picture of Velinde and then the video trailer for Cataclysm.

When it shows the three Night elves, look at the one of the left with the white hair. She looks to have the same skin color (given the light variable) and facial markings as Velinde. Hair color and style can change, yes?

Notice that she is also the only one that it is difficult to see her face directly, I think that is because Blizzard was trying to hide the fact that Velinde is that night elf.

That last parts just speculation, but, seriously, think about it.

Note that you need to pause the vid at just the right moment to get the best view of the supposed Velinde's face. --Morec of Rivendare (talk) 15:47, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

It doen't matter how good the evidence is. I think we all know that she's going to be involved, but we won't add anything except a speculatory note until she is confirmed via Blizzard communication, beta test, or whenever they say it's allowed. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 16:46, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Well that's what I meant, add it to the Speculation section on the page. And yeah, we all know she's going to be in it to some extent. --Morec of Rivendare (talk) 19:32, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
You can go ahead and add to the speculation note that she could easily be one of the night elves in the trailer. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 21:20, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
