Layout

Let me know if the layout for skills is any good or not. There isn't a whole lot of content there at the moment, but I'm trying to leave some of the information for the tactics section. Snorelax 20:40, 21 Nov 2004 (EST)

I like the layout. -- AlexanderYoshi 21:04, 21 Nov 2004 (EST)

Done for the evening, got some homework to do and class in the morning. I'll try to finish abilities up tomorrow. Snorelax 00:07, 22 Nov 2004 (EST)

Sorry to be a burden, but I'm really anal about these type of things. I notice that the rogue abilities table has borders while this one doesn't. Maybe we should discuss the merits of bordered vs. borderless and come up with a single table format. Any ideas? I personally think bordered are easier to line up especially when the "Stance" wraps to a second line. If you guys just want me to shut up, please say so. -- Campbelld 00:17, 25 Nov 2004 (EST)

It originally had borders, but HTML table borders look really sloppy in my opinion. Also, the stance wrapping is intentional as well. I'm looking into something to make it look cleaner, but really I think the standard HTML borders are a bad idea. Snorelax 05:12, 25 Nov 2004 (EST)

Lemmie know what you think of the new layout. Spent a little bit of time coloring rows and such, information should be more readable. Snorelax 05:49, 25 Nov 2004 (EST)

I like it, I found the blue title background a bit bright so have darkened it a bit, hope that's ok. Now the only problem is as Campbelld says, its inconsistent with the Rogue Abilities page, and also all the spell pages (Mage Spells and Warlock Spells so far I think). If we agree to go with the warrior layout someone should update the Templates to match it so we keep consistency, and then update the existing other pages. I understand Campbelld's concerns wrt borders, but I think if we add sufficient cellpadding it won't be a problem. Maybe also left-align the ability names? Oh, and yeah I like the stance wrapping, better that than one long line :) -- Goldark 06:16, 25 Nov 2004 (EST)
