Talk:Worgen ideas

I've seen the source, and as I recall it is entirely fan-made. The original posting started out with a prelude by the author stating something along the lines of "This is what I think the new race should be, with a backstory too." I haven't found the site since then, and don't remember the exact wording, but that's how I remember it. Where's my DEBUNKED stamp?

Make a new section = Debunked = and put what you know. That sounds good to me. A link to the original fan fic would be great, of course.

I keep hearing that this has been debunked but I've yet to see any one link to an offical statement from Blizzard or even the fan-fic that this was supposed to have been taken from.

The thing that makes me believe this rumor the most, aside from the strange 'taken aback' position from the author, is the fact that the Pyrewood Village worgen, while xenophobic at night, are friendly to the alliance during the day, and even include some 'shop' npcs. --Niton 8:56, 30 Jan 2006

The idea sounds cool and is well developed, but I doubt it would be for BC - Worgen have no ties to Outland. The Sea expansion would be a good place for this race... --Potbasher 25 Apr 2006
