Mac Guilds

There is a Mac-user guild named the The Reservoir Dogcows. They seem to be a big guild, so I would be surprised if they were all or mostly Mac users, but it's possible.

Yes I heard of them a long time ago, and yes they are all mac-users, or at least have been / would be if they had enough money to get a mac / play on both macs and PCs - I have some friends in there

I'm a dogcow! It is mostly Mac users, and they are a friendly guild who does a bit of raiding too!

Avowry on Cenarius US is the descendant of a Mac guild from original beta; though it's added many PC users since it's still very Mac-friendly. User:Fizzwidget/Signature 14:57, 28 April 2007 (EDT)

Stub location

Well, I prefer the stub temp at the top if the article has almost no content and is merely a placeholder until somebody knowledgeable comes along and fills it out a *LOT* - because it draws attention to the fact that it needs to be expanded. Wherever there is more info, though, for instance an almost-complete article, I like it at the bottom so the readers can access the info they need even though some ares are incomplete. You are right, there needs to be a policy on this - i'll add it to my to-do list... a WoWWiki:Policy/Stub page...
Anyway, for this article, I think it fits in the first category and needs to be at the top. I won't move it again, but if you read this and change your mind, then please move it back to the top (-:
I, personally, will be fine either way...

I just filled in a bunch of topics that frequently get discussed on Blizzard's Mac board. Think we still need a stub? User:Fizzwidget/Signature 14:51, 28 April 2007 (EDT)

Move to Macintosh?

I think this should be moved to Macintosh, and a redirect added. --Ziana 16:39, 3 January 2007 (EST)

Apple doesn't even use the full name "Macintosh" in most of their branding/advertising anymore. Macintosh redirects here... I think that's fine. User:Fizzwidget/Signature 14:50, 28 April 2007 (EDT)

Video Capture

Well, I tried the video capture the other day. The good news is that it was easy to use. The bad news is that it crippled my fps while it was recording. I went from about 15 fps to 2! I think my mac is slightly below the recommended spec for video recording though- it's like 4 years old...

I've put up the sample here:

Stub

Why is this still marked as a stub? User:Sharlin/Sig 10:47, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Good question. You should remove it. :P --Sky (t · c · w) 12:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

This page needs help, badly. I just updated all the Video Capture stuff, and I'm fairly retarded when it comes to technical stuff.
