This is a template for making tooltips for various buffs and debuffs.

Parameters:

  • float = Use "right" to float the box right.
  • buff_name or name = Name of the buff (or debuff)
  • buff_type or type = the Dispel Type of the buff, this should be magic, curse, poison, disease, or leave blank for typeless
  • buff_image or image = Image file for the buff icon.
  • buff_desc or desc = In-game text of the buff description
  • buff_dur or duration = Duration of the buff, including units. e.g. "10 seconds" - leave blank or omit for buffs with no duration such as Paladin Auras
  • debuff = If the ability causes a buff, do not include this. if the ability causes a debuff, usage is |debuff= and nothing more.
  • doc = Use "true" only to prevent category from being added.
