Template:Troll tribes

Inclusion

There are other tribes/subspecies of trolls that are not listed here. The reason: they were not mentioned in Troll Compendium on World of Warcraft website. If enough information comes up in the future warrants their listing feel free to add them yourself. Here is a partial list of these types:

• Steppe troll
• Island troll

Also note, because sand trolls are only one tribe, that Sandfury troll has become the standard term for the troll type in lore, see Monster Guide. It is argued that they may not be their own seperate type of trolls but rather an off-shoot of one of the other troll types.

Dark trolls are included although Troll Compendium argues they may not actually be a seperate type of troll, but rather an offshoot of one of others.
