Objection of move Edit

Sky, you moved this template from {{User PvP Rank}} to {{User Alliance PvP Rank}}. This template was intended to be for both factions.
The standard {{User PvP Rank}} may have been Private, but {{User PvP Rank|Grunt}} would have changed it to Grunt, etc...

The color is to remain the same? I have no issue with moving it back; the template seemed designed to be used for Alliance. And I'll get to work on providing image-switching =). Have to look up #switch. --Sky (t | c | w) 20:08, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Well the colours didn't really get much attention when I created it. I guess we could change them to something which is more "faction neutral" (not blue or red)... Green? Purple (Red+Blue)? --Ose - T | C 20:36, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Picture Edit

Right now the picture on the template is the Grand Marshal/High Warlord one(File:Pvprank14.jpg). Could it be possible to "program" the template so that it would change the picture to mirror the title? (Private/Grunt:File:Pvprank01.jpg, etc.) --Ose - T | C 00:56, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

I doubt it's buggy. That said, it's poorly designed with what we can do currently. =) Read up on metawiki:Help:ParserFunctions. I had it in mind to use #switch, though I haven't had the time to look up which ranks would be incorrectly linked to. --Sky (t | c | w) 07:43, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Rank Links Edit

Well that's great, except for the part that the second parameter that is intended to make the Horde color scheme is reserved for the character name, and that "This user" is exchanged for "This player". --User:Gourra/Sig2 00:53, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
