Is the removed category really appropriate here?
Edit
I'm not entirely sure it's appropriate to put these articles into Category:Removed from World of Warcraft, as they will still be relevant for new realms, until the event is completed on a per-realm basis. I'm leaving it in for now, and sleeping on it, but I currently think that the category usage is inappropriate, and that only content which will never be seen again (by anyone, including new realms) should be marked that way. I have changed the text to use present tense, i.e. "is removed" instead of "was removed", and "replaces" instead of "replaced", as that parses correctly for me both before and after the event. --Murph (talk · contr) 23:47, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- This is in line with the {{WorldEvent/Ahn'Qiraj}} template... My rationale in putting them in Cat:RFW as well as the wording for all of the IQD/SSO quest lead section prose (past tense for removed, present tense for the replacements) is that for most players, they won't be seen again once the realm advances past the phase they're in. Eventually they'll be an exact analogue of the AQ quests with the Isle completed automatically for new realms. How long that'll take (if it doesn't happen by default with the first new realm opened, whenever that is) is still up in the air at this point. --k_d3 02:00, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
