Template talk:Wowapi

I propose adding an argument to this template to allow better sorting. Right now, since all the articles start with "API", they're all sorted under "A" in the category page. That's not very handy.

Example:

Say, on the API_CompleteQuest page, instead of {{wowapi}} we would use {{wowapi|CompleteQuest}}

The result is that this would be sorted under the "C" section.

By all means, go ahead and do it before we start using {{wowapi}} in too many places. (Lots of nice yummy work in fixing the pages that already use it =))

This will also be handy in linking to other resources by function name (I have one in mind but won't say anything until it actually happens). --Mikk 12:48, 12 July 2006 (EDT)

Spacing issues

This is a completely cosmetic request, but how hard would it be to make sure that the WoW API nav table doesn't punch through a horizontal rule. See API ChangeActionBarPage to see what I'm talkin' 'bout, and see API ActionHasRange to see my stop-gap solution (added a bunch of newlines). It's completely doable in HTML without punching enter a lot. However, it also creates a lot of completely unnecessary blank space in the page :<   --Mikk (T) 11:23, 16 October 2006 (EDT)

Never mind, just found what I'm looking for. The clr template does essentially what I was talking about if you place it just above your first header. Plus, you can use on a case-by-case basis if dead space is a problem. Brilliant!
