The Temple City of En'kilah is a Scourge fortress in the northeastern corner of the Borean Tundra, southeast of the crashed necropolis of Talramas. Floating above the city is another Scourge necropolis, Naxxanar, which serves as the command center of the Scourge in the Borean Tundra.

The Spires of Blood, Decay, and Pain are located within the Temple City. Alliance and Horde players are given separate, but similar sets of quests by a death knight  Thassarian ( [72] Words of Power) or  Chieftain Wintergale ( [72] Words of Power) to kill the city's three high priests who are located in each of these spires: the darkfallen Andorath, the crypt lord Naferset, and the crypt fiend Talet-Kha.
