Terran is a language spoken by earth elementals hailing from Deephome. It is also known by conglomerates with the sub-type of earth.^{S&L 143} It is perhaps a dialect of Kalimag.

The term "Terran" shows up in the Kalimag phrase, "Ter'ran" in the Kalimag language parser.

• Terra means "Earth". A terran is someone from Earth. "Terrans" is the standard sci-fi term for the people of Earth in many franchises.
