Thalanaar is a tiny Alliance camp on the border of Feralas and Thousand Needles. It has a Hippogryph point and can be reached from Feathermoon Stronghold, Theramore Isle and Gadgetzan.
The outpost has very little to offer in the way of goods and services, although it is the location for the Tribal Leatherworking trainer Caryssia Moonhunter.

Judging by a toppled, seemingly ancient roadsign in Thousand Needles pointing to Thalanaar it's possible that Thalanaar was at one point a larger settlement or is at least a significantly old outpost.

In the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Thalanaar will be completely flooded from the nearby Thousand Needles. New Thalanaar will be constructed immediately to the west.
