The Council of Three Hammers is the regency that rules the Kingdom of Ironforge following the Cataclysm and the crystallization of King Magni Bronzebeard. The Council is so named because it is comprised of representatives from each of the three dwarven clans of the Three Hammers in Eastern Kingdoms:

• The Bronzebeard clan, represented by Magni's brother Muradin Bronzebeard (also known as Yorg Stormheart).
• The Wildhammer clan, represented by Falstad Wildhammer (though he was replaced by Kurdran Wildhammer in a number of beta builds,^{[citation needed]} Falstad will be featured in Cataclysm, thanks to the efforts of the now infamous Red Shirt Guy).^{[citation needed]}
• The Dark Iron clan, represented by Magni's daughter Moira Thaurissan, the widow of Emperor Dagran Thaurissan, as queen-regent to her son Fenran Thaurissan.
